The 1.5 MWh storage system increases economic efficiency by temporarily storing the PV electricity generated and marketing it specifically at the times with the highest yields. This optimises the electricity value and reduces curtailment losses. It is planned to participate in one of the upcoming open-space tenders - probably in December 2025 or March 2026. Based on the expected award value plus the technology bonus, this will result in a remuneration of around 9.3 ct/kWh. The use of the storage system can increase the total remuneration by a further 2 to 3 ct/kWh on average, meaning that a realistic total value of around 11.6 ct/kWh can be achieved.
